Custer Fence Terms and Conditions

Navigating through the process of selecting a fencing company can raise various questions, from the duration of quote validity to the intricacies of payment schedules and the specifics of overseeing your project. Our FAQ section aims to address these topics and more, providing a comprehensive overview to help set your expectations when partnering with us. For any additional information or to discuss your project in more detail, please don't hesitate to call us at (281) 645-0932.

  • How does Custer Fence back its installations with a warranty?

  • How long are quotes valid?

Our quotes typically remain valid for 21 days. Possible changes in prices beyond this period are often due to fluctuations in raw material costs like wood or steel products. Should you require a quote extension, please reach out to us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • What's the next step after accepting a quote, and when can your project start?

Upon acceptance, we'll send you a DocuSign for review and approval. Alongside your quote, you'll receive additional documents such as terms and conditions, utilities acknowledgment, and other project specifics. Most projects can commence within 7 to 14 days from the date of signed approval. While we strive to expedite projects when possible, we always call 811 at least 48 hours in advance to have public utility lines marked. Beware of companies rushing into projects without proper safety protocols.

  • What deposits, if any, are required?

Typically, we request a modest deposit, such as $250. However, for projects involving special order or custom materials, a larger deposit may be necessary. We caution against companies demanding substantial upfront payments, especially for projects with readily available materials.

  • When is payment due?

Payment is typically due upon substantial completion of the project, with minimal upfront costs. Larger or custom projects may involve incremental payments as specific phases are completed. Our pricing is competitive, and pricing is based on check or cash payments. Credit card transactions incur a 3% surcharge unless otherwise specified.

  • What about neighbors?

It's the customer's responsibility to communicate with adjacent and affected neighbors regarding the project. While we're available to address their queries, initiating discussions about project details, timelines, and potential impacts on pets is the customer's responsibility.

  • What about pets?

Customers are responsible for making arrangements for their pets during the project. Most residential fencing projects last one to three days, and customers should ensure pet accommodations during this period. Collaboration with neighbors for pet care arrangements is advisable.

  • Who oversees my project?

A qualified foreman will be assigned to oversee your project once ground is broken. Our foremen are very experienced, ensuring the quality and professionalism you expect from Custer Fence. Your salesperson serves as the primary contact for any concerns or issues beyond the foreman's scope.

  • Whom should I contact for queries?

For any questions, it's best to contact our office during business hours. Additionally, your salesperson may be reachable via cellphone within these hours. We value open communication and encourage customers to voice any concerns or queries they may have, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory fencing project experience with Custer Fence.
